A little background on who I am and where I'm headed.

Hello, I'm Joshua.

I'm an IT professional currently working as an engineer at Think Unified, a Managed Service Provider. In this role I manage complex, multi-client environments spanning Active Directory, Microsoft 365 security, firewall and VPN configurations, and endpoint management across 40+ organizations using NinjaRMM.

I've responded to live cybersecurity incidents involving the Termite and Akira ransomware groups, handling containment, investigation, and recovery. That real-world exposure to active threats is what solidified my drive to move deeper into cybersecurity.

Before IT, I spent years in management, turning around underperforming teams and hitting results under pressure. That background gave me communication, leadership, and problem-solving instincts that I carry into everything I do in tech.

📚 Currently Learning

Focused on cybersecurity fundamentals and currently studying for the CompTIA Security+, with a goal to complete it by May 31st. Building hands-on skills in network security, threat analysis, and security operations along the way.
